Jacob “Jake” Jesus Satterfield was the first-born son of Russell Allen Satterfield and Ana Alicia Alvarado. He was a loving big brother to Jazmynn Jade Satterfield, Juliana Rose Satterfield, Jupiter Jobe Satterfield, and Jeremiah Jade Satterfield.
Though only still a precious and somewhat innocent age of 21, his legacy of love and kindness was vast. Easily described with famous phrases such as, “Never spoke a cross word,” “Heart Full of Gold,” and “A good man,” Jacob spread love wherever he went.
Jacob is now spreading that Love and Joy in the afterlife. He WILL be missed. His memory WILL be cherished. His essence WILL be emulated.
Born on July 20th, 2000, healthy and happy. He grew to be a sweet, loveable Teddy Bear of a man. A known hugger, helper, and hero to all. Having one of the sharpest minds, he often used that intelligence to engage with those around him in a positive way. He was Athletic, Creative, Funny, and Vibrant.
Jacob is an obvious candidate for “Only the Good die Young” because he was highly regarded and morally upright in all aspects of his life. The world may seem at a loss to us without him; however, Jake truly enhanced the meaning of our lives, making us realize how precious each moment is.
He is survived by his grandparents, Mica “Grandma Mica” Boyd Johnston, Brenda “Ma B,” Alvarado, Rudy, “Grandpa Rudy,” Castelo, and Zarina “Grandma Z” Castelo.
He is also survived by numerous Aunts & Uncles as well as an abundance of cousins.
He now joins his recently departed Great Grandmothers, Antonia, “Tony,” Alvarado, and Mildred, “Grandma Millie,” Boyd.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 6-8 PM on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. A memorial service will be Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 11 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 5401 JBS Parkway in Odessa.
