James A Majors, 87, of Odessa passed away Friday, October 13, 2017 at his residence. He was born July 7, 1930 in Caldwell, TX to Julious & Gertrude Majors. He was a retired cook He is survived by daughters, Mildred Wilkins, Beverly Majors & Carlan Reeves, sons, James Arthur Majors Jr, Marcus Tyrone Majors & Larry Lynn Norris, sister, Jean Mitchell, (30) grandchildren, (90) great-grandchildren, & numerous great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 3 - 5 pm Sunday, October 22, at St. James Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Monday, October 23, 2017 at St. James Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Ector County Cemetery/Rose Hill section. Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
