He is survived by his wife, Tracy Danea Watkins and three children: Michael Watkins of Snyder TX, Shelby Watkins of Odessa and Gemma Watkins of Andrews TX.
Also survived by his parents, Gary and Vicki Watkins of Odessa TX, grandmother, Mema Teakell of Odessa TX, great aunt, Rita Cochenour and Big Donna.
He also leaves behind many cherished uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandfather, Pop Teakell, aunt, Donna Teakell Jones and Reed Teakell. Grandparents, Jack and Jane Watkins, Jack and Bo Watkins.
He had accepted Christ as his personal Savior at a young age and we look forward to the day we meet him again in heaven.
A Memorial Service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 8644 Andrews Hwy, Odessa, Texas 79765, on July 18, 2026, at 10:30 am.
