

Visitation will be held at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. A prayer service and Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel.
Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Santiago Udayar officiating. Interment will follow at Ector County Cemetery in the Los Angeles section.
He was born in Yorktown, TX, to Olivia (Lechuga) and Agustine Telles on February 11, 1932. Joe loved and took pride working in the retail grocery business for Everybody’s and Jimenez Carniceria where he established lasting relationships with co-workers and customers. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church proudly serving as an usher. He enjoyed spending time with family and participating in his grandchildren’s activities.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Guadalupe Telles.
He is survived by his wife Tomasa (Porras) Telles of Odessa, sons, Rudy Telles and wife Norma of Odessa, Roy Telles and wife Allie of Weslaco, TX, six grandchildren Yari Tran and husband Johnny of Austin, TX, Sergio Telles of Tulsa, OK, Joel, David, Sarah Maria, and Adrian Benjamin Telles of Weslaco, TX, great-granddaughter Annabelle Tran of Austin, TX, and loving niece Socorro Cortez of Odessa, TX.
Pallbearers will be Sergio Telles, Albert Cortez, Robert Soza, Jaime Soza, Jimmy Soza, and Johnny Tran.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Home Hospice, Catholic Charities Food Pantry, or St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
