Jimmie Arvel Tilson

He was born April 22, 1926 to Hugh A. and Jimmie M. (Graham) Tilson in Plainview, TX.

He owned and operated Tilson-Godsey, Inc. in Odessa, TX.

He served in the Air Force during WWII. In his civilian life he was a private pilot. He was a Shriner, Mason, and a member of the American Legion Post 430.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Dorothy Tilson.

He is survived by his daughters, Sue Hunter and husband Richard of Lipan, TX, Jan Jones and husband Jim of Rio Vista, TX, three grandchildren, Clay McCracken, Ashli Newman, Kelly Conner, seven great-grandchildren, Leslie McCracken, Bailey McCracken, Patrick McCracken, Bryce Newman, Micah Newman, Noah Newman, and Rex Conner.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2013 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

Graveside service will be 2:00p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with

Glenn Clark officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to S.P.C.A. or the Humane Society.
