Dear Lo and family, 

I am so truly saddened to read about Johnny's passing.  Just saw this today.  Johnny was a hoot!  Funny, caring, kind,so thoughtful. He was one of a kind!  He will be sorely missed.  But I am sure Heaven is enjoying that wonderful smile of his!  It could brighten any room.  I just wanted to let you know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Condolences to The Gentry family, Ms Loetta his baby sister and only sister he loved you very much. I have great memories of Mr. Johnny I remember when he stated working at Medical Center he was one of the first Male Surgical Tech, He was so caring, kind and very professional as you see by his smile why he was so loved. He use to call me "Sweets" but he was the one that was sweet. He care for his patients more then for himself. "A good name is better than fine perfume." My condolences go out to the Gentry family. I just found out about Johnny's passing today. I am devastated. I talked to him a couple of weeks ago. He was in good spirits and his heart was at peace. Johnny was one of my very  best friends. We were always like brothers. From Douglas elementary to Carver, Blackshear and Ector we lived on Wabash and Odessa street as kids and stated running track together and he was always my hero. My heart is broken.
Robert hang in there brother. I love the Gentry family. May God comfort you today during this difficult time. Rest in peace my brother.
