Jose Adrian Paredes Curiel

He was born March 5, 1956, to Francisco Paredes Flores and Estella Curiel Montez in Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico. He was married to Elva Fuentes Lara Paredes. He was an insulator in the construction business.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and a brother, Alberto Paredes.

He is survived by his sons Rodney and Danny Lara, and Arturo Pacheco; his daughters Erica L. Barrientos and husband, Jr, and Veronica Lara, all of Odessa; brothers Omar, Carlos, and Ramon, all of California, Miguel Paredes of Odessa, and Gabriel Paredes of El Paso; sisters Guadalupe Paredes of Odessa; Maria de Lourdes Paredes of New Mexico, Rosa Isela Paredes of Ft Worth, Blanca Estela Paredes of Amarillo, and Orquidia Paredes of California; eight grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and beloved friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 9:00 pm on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with President Miguel Angel Velazquez officiating. Interment will follow at the Crane County Cemetery, in Crane, TX.

Pall bearers are Hugo Garcia, Carlos Cuffman, Daniel Cuffman, Kevin Goodloe, Ramon Paredes, Omar Paredes, and David Cuffman.
