Juan Torres Cardona

A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 24 at Odessa Funeral Home. Burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 6801 E Business 20, Odessa Tx. 79762 and a reception following after at Venue 2635 Faudree Rd. Odessa, Tx 79765.

Friends may say their last goodbye from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Tuesday and 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home.

“Juanito” was born March 9, 1947 in Loreto Zacatecas, Mexico to Salvador and Antonio Torres. On March 11, 1988, he married Marivel Ramos in El Paso, Tx. Juan was a man of the field and enjoyed working with his horses, goats and chickens.

Juan is survived by his seven sons, Jose Luis, Salvador, Raul, Juan Jr., Jose, Larry, and Miguel Angel Torres; and two daughters Marisol Ramon and Aurora Quinonez. He had 20 grandchildren.

He left behind 4 brothers Jose, Isidro, Ricardo, and Rosalio Torres and 2 sisters Eva Briseno and Maria Consecion Torres and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Salvador

Torres in 2007, Antonia Cardona 2017, brothers Chuyito and Ramon Torres and sister Amalia Andrade.

Juan will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Gardens, 6801 E I-20 BL, Odessa, Texas 79762.
