Karl was a Christian and previously attended services at Lutheran Church of the Risen Lord in Odessa.
Karl was born in Friedberg, Hessen, Germany on July 19, 1942. He is survived by Linda Baker of the home; daughter, Kellye Ulmer (Konn); and granddaughter, Meagan Ulmer; his sister, Pat Walker; and his loyal, faithful and loving companion, his dog, Sam.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Marie Hernandez.
Karl spent 50 years working in various positions in the oilfield service industry in West Texas.
At Karl’s request, there will be no memorial or graveside services.
