Kathryn Louise Pease

After an unfortunate accident, she passed from this earthly home to her heavenly home.

She was born in Earlsboro, OK on August 13, 1934 to Oscar and Lucy Girty.

Her family moved to Cody WY when she was a child. It was there she met the love of her life, Charlie Pease.

They were married in Cody on July 4, 1954 (so Charlie wouldn’t forget the date).

They had three children; Jay, Toni and Sheryl.

Life was an adventure. They lived all over the State of Wyoming until 1964, when Charlie packed everyone up and moved

them to Kuwait and that was just the beginning.

They also lived in South Africa, England, Colorado, Oklahoma and finally Odessa, TX where the weather was

perfect for year round golf. Katie said – “No more moves! This is home!” Katie was an avid golfer and lots of golf buddies – (sorry I can’t name you all). She attended First Baptist Church and had many friends there. She loved following her grand kids from sporting events to music events.

Katie was preceded in death by her husband Charlie and her son, Jay. Those left to cherish her memory are daughters, Toni Gern (Fred) and Sheryl Meyer (Nino), daughter-in-law Judy Pease, grandchildren, Tanner Davis, Dylan Meyer, (Bethany), Shannan Meyer, Derrick Bush (Marcy), Jeff Bush (Laurel) and Adrianne Bush, and three great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

A memorial service will be at 11:00am Friday, September 19, 2014 at First Baptist Church.
