I worked with Larry at Land and Marine in Odessa in the late '70's. I started getting promotions and eventually became a manager. I owe all of my oilfield success to Larry and his friend Gary Smith. Larry was a great teacher and mentor.

We will miss Larry and are praying for his family. My mom, Modean McMillan, is Larry's aunt and he was a very special man. He was such a blessing, even more than he will know when we had to move mom from Lubbock to Enid to assisted living.

Larry was truly a great friend. It seems like I've known him forever. He always had a great smile and a good story from our past that always brought back fun times and good memoriees. I'm gonna miss you Larry. Thanks for always being a good friend. Life is way too short, so we need to enjoy all we can while we are here. He's home now with all his friends and family that have gone on before him. Say hi to my boy and Gary Smith for me. We will all meet again some day. To Larry's family. God will bless and keep you during this extremely hard time. Our faith keeps us through things like this. If it didn't,I don't know how we could bear the pain and the loss. Miss you pal!
