Lidia C. Molinar 82 of Odessa passed away Tuesday, December 19th at Odessa Regional Hospital. Lidia was born August 3, 1935 in Valentine, Texas to Manuel and Santos Canava. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Arturo Molinar Sr., daughter, Sonia Ruiz, granddaughter, Amanda Herrera, brothers, Raymundo & Martin, sisters, Gracie Gonzales & Sulema Lopez. Lidia is survived by daughters, Patricia Renteria & husband Jaime of Midland, Nelda Herrera & husband Ricky of Odessa, sons, Arturo Molinar Jr & Hector Garcia Sr. of Odessa, sisters Rose Vasquez of Buda, Texas, Isabel Salgado & husband Cirilo of Odessa, Rebecca Lascano & husband David of Amarillo, brothers, Ruben Canava & wife Polly of Hobbs, NM, Ismael Canava & wife Margie of Garland, TX., grandchildren, Linsey, Alexis, Brian, Richard, Hector Jr., Gabriel, Arturo III, Vianca, great grandchildren, Julian, John, Ava, Chloe, Ridge, and Oliver. Rosary will be said at 7:00 PM Tuesday the 26th and Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated 1:00 pm Wednesday the 27th at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Ector County Cemetery.
