Loretta Lynn Leslie-Bowling

She graduated from Odessa High School in 1962. She worked as an administrator at Frank Wilson Funeral Directors for over 20 years until her retirement. Loretta was involved in a number of volunteer organizations over the years, including the PTA, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, ABWA, Pilot Club, and the Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary Organization. She was a long-standing member of Northside Baptist Church in Odessa and attended First Baptist Church in Midland, as well.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Carey and father La Rue Sharp as well as her husband of 51 years, Robert Leslie.

Loretta is survived by her husband, Ed Bowling; brothers Larry Sharp and wife Kim, and Don Sharp and wife Mary; her children Malissa Roach, David Leslie and Kimberly Robison; grandchildren Kelli Cowart, Brandon Cowart and wife Marina, Brittany Cowart and husband Brandon, Shauna Roach, Nathan Robison and Becky Robison as well as several great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 5-9 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be Friday, April 7, 2023 at 3 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Clydel Chapman officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
