Lori Jan Reese, 49, of Odessa passed away Monday, July 11, 2011 at the Hendricks Hospital Hospice Inpatient Unit in Abilene. She was born July 1, 1962, in Midland. She was a resident at Abilene State School for more than 26 years. Tuberous Sclerosis was diagnosed at John’s Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD in 1964.
She is survived by her parents, Jim & Jayne Reese of Odessa, sister, Greta Rigney & husband Bill of Midland and her brother, Rocky Reese & Wife Carol of Horsehoe Bay, TX, and many nieces & nephews. Jim Reese served as Mayor of Odessa from 1968 to 1974.
Visitation may be made with the family at 2929 Kirkwood Dr., Odessa, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, July 12, 2011.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jim Longstreet officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Permian Basin Rehabilitation Center or the Tuberous Sclerosis Association.
