On 10-10-10 at 10:00PM God sent his angels to take our BEAUTIFUL Granny home. Sweeter than her own peach cobbler that`s what are Granny was. Granny was born August 19, 1924 in Round Rock, Texas to Ramon Ancira and Lucia Castillo. She married Candelario Munoz on December 31, 1941. She was a loving Mother, and the best Granny anyone could `ve asked for. Granny showed us her love by her delicious cooking; if she happened to look over and see you not eating like starving; she would get up and make something special just for you. If you weren`t careful you could end up with 4 or 5 different dishes in front of you. She was Known as “GRANNY” not only to her Grandchildren, but also by everyone who knew her. One thing Granny always wanted was a beautiful home, now Granny, find rest in the most beautiful home ever- HEAVEN! Thank you to all who loved our Granny. Granny was preceded in death by Sons: Domingo Munoz; and Joe Munoz; Grandson: Daniel Barriga; Brothers: Andres; Bascillo; Florentino; and Frank Ancira; Sisters: Victoria Yruegas and Santania Flores, Her Survivors include by her husband of almost 69 years Candelario Munoz of Odessa, sons; Jesse and Lauren Munoz of Florida, Frank Munoz, Ernie and Anna Munoz, Roy and Elaine Munoz and Pauland Debbie Munoz all of Odessa, daughters; Josie and Sammy Cruz of Hobbs, NM, Beatrice (Bea) Lucero, Hope and Homer Barriga, and Toni Munoz all of Odessa, sisters; Maria Hernandez of Lubbock, Janie Galvan of Albuquerque, NM, Amelia Torres of Clovis, NM. Grandchildren: Angie and Ed, Cha Cha and Mike, Domingo; Jr.; Randy and Mary; Reney and Shawnda, Jason and Dayna; Erica; Samantha and Jacob; Richard and Sherri; Joseph; Rico; Katy; Brandon; Lucas; Alex and Wendy; Christy and Anthony; and Great grandchildren: Michael; Ryan; Mia; Nick; Andrea; Cameo; Tabitha; Jacob; Richard; Jaden; Janniya; and Chackeitha.

A Rosary was held Tuesday October 12, 2010 at 7:00 PM at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. We Will be celebrating Granny`s life with a Mass at 10:00 AM Today Wednesday October 13, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with the Reverend Mark Woodruff officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery (Los Angles section).
