Luis Martinez Carrasco

In our heavenly kingdom and in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is to be found a beloved husband, father, son, brother and dear friend 87, of Odessa Texas. .Luis passed away Friday, April 01, 2016 at Odessa Regional Medical Center Hospital, in Odessa Texas. He was born June 21, 1928 in Saragosa, Texas to Manuel Carrasco and Cesaria Martinez. He is preceded in death by his wife Maria G. Carrasco and his parents, Manuel and Cesaria Carrasco. His sisters: Maria “Meme Machuca, Felice Chavarria, and Sara Hernandez. He is survived by his son: George Carrasco of Odessa, Texas. Daughters: Yolanda Esparza and husband Mike Esparza of Ft. Worth Texas and Sylvia Aguirre and husband Roy Aguirre of Odessa, Texas and his brothers: Roberto Carrasco, and Carlos Carrasco, .his sisters Ofelia Rodriguez, Diega Hernandez, Cesaria Alvarez, Elpidia Salvatierra, Ernestina Carrasco, grandchildren: Yvonne Tijerina and husband Juan Tijerina of Murphy, Texas, Steven Esparza and wife Clarissa of San Antonio, Texas Melinda (Mindy) Meyers and Jeff Meyers, great-grandchildren: Daniella, Jonathan and Ava Tijerina, Liam Luis Esparza, Noah James Meyers, his great-great granddaughter, Nevaeh Milton. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

We the Carrasco family would like to take this time to express our utmost sincere gratitude and appreciation to each and every one for all the prayers, floral arrangements, food offerings and especially your presence with us during this difficult time. May God bless you all abundantly. At the family’s request they have opted for cremation. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Thursday, April 7th , 2016 at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 08, 2016 at 10:00 am at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church 2633 Conover Street, Odessa, Texas, with Rev. Fernando Bonillia officiating. Inurnment will be held at Ector County Cemetery, the Los Angeles Section.
