In Our Heavenly Kingdom and in the Arms of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, is to be found Our Beloved Father, Grandfather and Brother, Manuel Pineda. Mr. Pineda, passed away Thursday September 30, 2010 at Buena Vida Nursing Home here in Odessa at the age of 79. He was born March 01, 1931, in Colorado City, Texas. He was a Christian Catholic and a Brick Mason in the Construction Industry. Mr. Pineda is preceded in death by Mother: Margarita Pineda Carrillo; and Sisters; Eleanor Martinez; and Lala Lopez. He is survived by Sons: Johnny Pineda (Sandra) of Odessa, Danny Pineda (Esther) and Peter Pineda all from Grand Junction, Colorado; Daughters: Mary Pineda Moreno (Alex.) of Odessa, Texas, Margaret Pineda of Grand Junction, Colorado; Brother; Lupe Ornelas of Odessa. Grandchildren: 19, Great-Grandchildren: 49; Great-Great grandchildren: 2 and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. We the Pineda Family would like to take this time and with a heartfelt embrace thank each and everyone of you for all your Prayers; Floral; Food offerings and especially your presence with us during this most difficult time. A special gratitude to all the staff and Dr`s at Buena Vida Nursing Home for all the wonderful Loving Care given to Our beloved Father. The Family is forever grateful. May God Bless You All Abundantly. Pallbearers will be Tom Pineda; Johnny Pineda Jr.; Anthony Subia; Oscar Subia; John Andrade Jr.; Chris Gonzales, Daniel Pineda Jr.; Dusty Pineda, and Derrick Pineda. A Rosary will be recited at 7pm today Sunday October 3, 2010 at Odessa Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 10AM Monday October 4,2010 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Uecker officiating. Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery Los Angeles Section.
