Margie McDonald, age 89, passed away Friday, November 25, 2011 at the Hospice House in Odessa. She was born June 22, 1922 in Albany, TX to Newt Franklin & Margie Jane (Norman) Tabor. She married David McDonald in 1945 in Houston. She was a great cook, she loved her family, animals, & country western dancing. She was loving, caring & the family historian.
She is survived by her husband, David McDonald of Odessa, daughters, Karla Watts & husband John Lee of Odessa, Karon Baskett & husband Virgil of Odessa, sister, Bessie Echols of Albany, (2) grandchildren: Brian Watts & wife Barbara of North Haven, CT, Laurie Neilly & husband Chris of Wylie, TX, (3) great-grandchildren: Meagan Baskett, Sarah & Madison Neilly.
A graveside service was held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating.
