Marissa Summer Pittman, 21, of Odessa left us on May 6, 2018 at 10:30 PM. She was born on February 23, 1997 to Ronny and Cathy Pittman. Marissa was a true angel sent to us from the Lord. From the time she came until the day she left us, her smile radiated a level of joy that easily spread and lifted everyone’s spirits. Her laugh was highly contagious. She shared a special bond with her mother, Cathy. The two were inseparable and were truly the best of friends. She will be remembered with great love and joy and will always remain in our hearts. As her mother would say “we love you pretty…”
She is survived by her parents, Ronny and Cathy Pittman; her siblings Steven and Sarah Jones; her brother in law, Andrew Jones and niece and nephew, Madeleine and Jameson Jones.
A funeral service will be held today, May 9, 2018 at 1:00 PM at First United Pentecostal Church with Brother Terry Pugh officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
