Marjorie (Granny) Bruce, 91, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2014, at home in Kennedale, TX, after a short illness, surrounded by her family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at Sunset Memorial Gardens, in Odessa, TX.
Marjorie was born July 1, 1922, in Jennings, KS, to George and Else Mae Tacha. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Dean Bruce and grandson Jason Lee Conn.
Survivors include her children Michael D. Conn and Tonya of Odessa, TX; Randy L. Conn and Joe O’Neel, both of Kennedale, TX; sisters Peggy Thompson, Betty Kurtz, and Dotty Gillen, all of Mead, KS; grandchildren Justin D. and Amber Conn of Hernando, MS., and Jessica O’Neel of Olive Branch, MS.; and great-grandchildren David, Christian, Carter, and Emma Grace, all of Hernando, MS.
