

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Marta Arreola, who was born on January 19, 1939, in Mulato, Chihuahua, Mexico, and peacefully passed away on June 29, 2026.
Marta was the beloved daughter of Gorgonio and Josefa Carrasco and was one of five siblings. She grew up with a deep love for her family, a strong work ethic, and an unwavering faith that guided her throughout her life.
She married the love of her life, Anastacio (Tacho) Arreola, and together they built a beautiful family rooted in love, faith, and devotion. Marta was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and the heart of her home. She is survived by her children, Richard Arreola and his wife, Gloria Arreola; Daniel Arreola; and Abilia Arreola.
She was blessed with grandchildren who brought her endless joy: Sarah Finley and her husband, Jaris Finley; Clarissa Salinas and her husband, Moses Salinas; Manuel Jr. Valenzuela; Richelle Arreola; Aaron Valenzuela; Alexis Valenzuela and her husband, Héctor Valenzuela; Tiffany Covos and her husband, Alfredo Covos; and Brian Arreola and his wife, Alejandra Arreola. Ryan Arreola married to Joclynn Arreola.
Marta was also blessed with great-grandchildren: JaMicah Jones, Hazel Valenzuela, Aubrielle Valenzuela, Annalee Pugach, Ariella Covos, Camila Salinas, Xavier Covos, Amelia Ordaz, Aliana Arreola, Anthony Valenzuela, Leilah Covos, and Jaris Finley Jr. who will continue to carry her love and memory for generations to come.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gorgonio+ and Josefa Carrasco+; her beloved husband, Anastacio Arreola+ and her beloved son, Javier Arreola+ Also preceded in death by 3 sibling’s.
Marta’s kindness, strength, compassion, and unconditional love touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She always placed the needs of others before her own and found her greatest happiness in caring for her family. Her life was a beautiful example of faith, resilience, generosity, and unconditional love.
She will be honorably escorted by her Pallbearers, Aaron Valenzuela, Manuel Valenzuela, Brian Arreola, Hector Valenzuela, Ryan Arreola, Moses Salinas and Alfredo Covos.
Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in knowing she has been reunited with those she loved and is now resting in the eternal peace of our Lord.
Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever missed.
May she rest in eternal peace.
Visitation will take place from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Odessa Funeral Home located at 1700 N. Jackson in Odessa, Texas. A Rosary will be recited at 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, at Our Lady of San Juan de Los Lagos Mission Church located at Our Lady of San Juan de Los Lagos Mission Church in Odessa. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery in Odessa.
