Mary Margaret Southard

Mary Margaret (Long) Southard of Odessa, Texas entered in to eternal rest on March 14, 2025 at the age of 92. She was born on February 07, 1933 in Houston, Texas. Mary was a beautiful soul. After retiring from Sears Roebuck and Company on April 30th of 1994, she served her community by volunteering at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Texas. She was a devoted wife and beautiful mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Mary is survived by her husband of 74 years, Robert Alvin Southard, her brother, James Edward Long and wife Debbie, her sister in law Dori Malmburg-Long. Her children, Kathryn Ann Southard and Richard Alan Southard and wife Michyle, and daughter in law, Linda Southard. Her grandchildren, Russell Alexander, Sarah Houston, Christine Southard Casey (Mark), Brian Southard (Lauren), and Robert Southard (Taylor). Her great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Dylan, Ainsley, Hayes, Avery and Annie, Eleanor and Piper.

She is preceded in death by her children, Robert Wayne Southard and Anita Kay Southard, brother James (J.L.) Long and wife Bessie, brother in law Earl Schneider and her sister in law Norma Jo Southard Schneider

She will be forever missed and loved.
