In Loving Memory of Mike Burlingame 53 of Odessa. Departed this life on December 10, 2020. Born May 31, 1967 in Minnesota to Donald Burlingame and the late Marilyn Burlingame,
Mike was a graduate of Permian High School 1985 and had attended UTPB. Accounting and business management. Mike started his golfing career at Sunset Country Club at the age of 12 after 17 years honing his golfing career he went to Frito Lay and was a lead route sales for 22 years. His recent accomplishment was to obtain CDL-commercial driving license. Mike had plans on traveling the world and becoming a road worrier.
Mike was best known for his wit and kindness that will be sorely missed by all. Whether on the golf course or around the poker the jokester was at his finest, surrounded by around a captive audience. As those that knew Mike knew of his pride and joy, Zachary and Matthew. There was nothing in the world that he wouldn’t do for you two, cheerfully and with pride. The boys were his world.., Mike would tell Laurie “all I have to do is just hear someone mention their name and I’m 10 feet tall and bullet proof” Mike leaves behind two twin sons Zachary and Matthew Burlingame of Odessa, Sisters Tammy and Richard Mitchell of San Antonio. Cindy and Theo McDonald and Laurie Burlingame of Odessa along with brothers Greg and Melissa, Jeff and Mary, Danny and Kay Burlingame.
Along with several nieces and nephews of Odessa, Midland TX. Oakridge TN and New Orleans LA.
Memorial service will be held Saturday December 19, 2020 at Life Challenge Odessa TX.

I remember Mike from when we we kids in Jr high and spent the summers swimming out at sunset. I was friends with Laurie . I am so sorry for your loss . It’s a strange feeling loosing a sibling. It changes the family. I know each of you will miss him. Laurie I am thinking of you and your family . God bless Brenda Farris
