She was born March 27, 1924 in Casper, WY.
Shortly after her birth the family moved to Florida, Borger, Pampa, Iowa, and finally to San Angelo.
In San Angelo she met and married the love of her life, Raymond Lee Monroe on August 19, 1943. Raymond and Lanore moved from San Angelo to the Permian Basin, and made that area their permanent home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Bessie Stone, a twin sister, Lavone Stone, and her beloved husband Raymond.
She is survived by her nephew, Leonard Monroe and wife Sue of Midland, and a niece, Patsy Heath and husband Bob of Mercer, Pennsylvania.
A chapel service will be 2pm Monday, May 5, 2014 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
