Nancy A Marin

Nancy is survived by her mother, Licha Gonzalez; husband Ector Marin; daughters Angelica

Rodriguez and Audrey Brumbalow; Son Anthony Marin; brothers Carlos and Paul Mack; sisters

Blanca, Christina, Lydia, and Sylvia Mack; Grandchildren Peyton and Teagan Brumbalow, and River and

Lyla Marin; and many nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her brother Geraldo

Avitia; father Charles Mack; and stepfather Jesse Gonzalez.

Nancy was born on November 22nd, 1971 in El Paso, Texas to Charles Mack and Licha

Gonzalez. One of her proudest achievements was earning her GED after 30 years being out of

the classroom. With this achievement, she was able to begin a career in a work environment

that she wanted for so many years. On March 11th, 2020, Nancy tied the knot with her husband,

Ector Marin, after 4 years and then spent an additional 5 years of joy and happiness in

marriage.

Gliding on the dance floor, Nancy loved cumbias but never failed to dance to other genres of

music. She enjoyed karaoke nights where she sang along with the songs of Selena, Queen, and

Madonna. She enjoyed traveling and was always up for joining Ector on his motorcycle to

Banderas, Texas with her brother-in-law Eddie Marin and his wife Anita. When she wasn’t riding

motorcycles, Nancy enjoyed rooting for her favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys, with her

family. Nancy loved spending time with her daughter, Angelica, and constantly laughed and was

in good spirits when they went shopping, had lunch, or simply were watching “90 Day Fiance”

together.

Out of all the things Nancy will be remembered for, she will be remembered most for her sheer

determination when she faced adversity and the kindness she showed others. Her ability to look

forward with positivity and faith will continue to remind her loved ones that there will always be a

light at the end of the tunnel.

Please join us in celebrating Nancy’s life at her funeral on March 22nd at the Hubbard Kelly

Funeral home in Odessa, Texas at 10 AM. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Nancy’s life..
