Odalie Ibarra

She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. When Odalie walked in a room she was the life of the party always smiling full of love. She had a loud, cheerful, positive personality. She greeted every one with a hug and a kiss, she was a lover!

She fought a long battle with cancer. She passed in her hometown of Odessa Tx. on June 21, 2023. Odalie was born on July 31,1974 in Ciudad Juares, Chihuahua to Juan Ramon Gallegos and Alma Ivonne Loera de Gallegos. She was very protective of her siblings Ivonne Gallegos and Juan Gallegos both from Ciudad Juarez Chihuahua. She married Luis Ibarra on April 12, 1993 in Odessa Tx. She went to Odessa College and achieved her Paralegal Certificate.

Her hobbies were spending time with her family and her dogs. She was a devoted Catholic and had tremendous faith.

She is survived by her husband Luis Ibarra from Odessa, her son Edgar Ibarra and wife Esmi Ibarra from Odessa, her daughters Isis Ibarra and Brenda Ibarra both from Odessa, precious grandchild Edgar Isael Ibarra from Odessa, her dad Juan Ramon Gallegos from Odessa, sister Ivonne Gallegos from Odessa, brother Juan Gallegos and wife Maria Gallegos from odessa, 10 nieces and nephews from Odessa, mother in law Maria Concepcion Ibarra from Odessa.

She is predeceased in death by her mom Alma Ivonne Loera de Gallegos and father in law Rosalio L Ibarra.

VIsitation for Odalie will be held Friday, June 23, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Odessa Funeral Home, visiations on Saturday, June 24, 2023 and Sunday, June 25, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The rosary will occur Sunday, June 25, 2023 at 7:00 PM, Odessa Funeral Home, 1700 N Jackson Ave, Odessa, Texas 79761. Funeral service will take place on Monday, June 26, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 2633 Conover Ave, Odessa, Texas 79763. A burial will occur Monday, June 26, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 6801 E I-20 Business Loop, Odessa, Texas 79762.

Pallbearers are Ramon Gallegos, Edgar Ibarra, Juan Gallegos, Jose Ibarra, Tony Ibarra, Ignacio Ibarra.

Reception will take place at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 2633 Conover Ave, Odessa, Texas 79763 from 3:00-7:00pm.
