Pascual E. Muñoz, Jr., 98, entered into eternal rest on June 13, 2026. He was born on September 15, 1927, in Terlingua, Texas, to Pascual and Audelia Muñoz. We rejoice in knowing that he is now in the presence of the Lord, reunited with loved ones who went before him.
On October 26, 1945, Pascual married the love of his life, Alicia Cañas. Their marriage was a testament to faith, devotion, and the blessings God bestows upon a loving union.
Pascual is survived by his children: Ida Hinojos; Ana and David Gonzales; Daniel and Vera Muñoz; Aurora Muñoz; and Donald and Alma Muñoz. He is also survived by his brothers, Jose Antonio (Pepe) Muñoz and Ruben Muñoz; 20 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; his cherished pet, Linda; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will forever hold him in their hearts.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Alicia; his daughter, Gloria Spencer; his grandsons, Arturo Hinojos and Alex Spencer; four brothers; six sisters; and his faithful pet, Chiquita. We take comfort in knowing they are joyfully reunited in God’s eternal kingdom.
The family extends heartfelt thanks for your kind words, prayers, and thoughtful food offerings during this difficult time. Your love and support have been a blessing and a reminder of God’s grace.
Rosary will be recited Monday June 22nd at 6pm, with celebration of Life to follow at Hubbard Kelly Chapel.
Funeral services to be held Tuesday June 23rd at 10:00am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Ector Co. Cemetery.
