Paula Mayes

Paula Johnson Mayes, 34, of Odessa, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012 at the Hospice House. She was born July 11, 1977 in Odessa to Ronald Wayne & Anita (Short) Johnson. She married Kenny Mayes on May 9, 1995 in Odessa. She was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Anita Johnson. She is survived by her husband, Kenny Mayes of Odessa, son, Sammy Mayes of Odessa, brother, Richard Johnson of Odessa, sisters, Barbara Norris & husband Eric of Odessa, Deborah Wentzel & husband Holger of Chattanooga, TN, & Stephanie Haveman & husband Billy of Odessa, (2) nieces & (1) nephew.

She was devoted to her family and was especially proud of her son. She was a lot like her mom whom she loved dearly.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Ector County Cemtery.
