Paula R. Navarrete

She was born June 8, 1938 Ojinaga, Mexico. She was a homemaker and Catholic.

She is preceded in death by her husband Gilbert Navarrete, parents Bernardo and Luisa Ramirez, son Bentura Navarrete, grandson Josiah Hinojos, brothers Memo, Pedro and Esidro Ramirez.

She is survived by her six children Sylvia Hinojos of Odessa, Gilbert Navarrete Jr of Midland, Rudy Navarrete of Midland, Linda Navarrete of Odessa, Elva Rodriguez of Odessa, Mary Barriga of Odessa; eight grandchildren Mario Hinojos of Odessa, Mario Reyes of Midland, Amelia Rodriguez of Odessa, Michael Navarrete of Midland, Lando Rodriguez Jr. of Odessa, Carlos Rodriguez of Odessa, Isaac Vasquez of Odessa, Jennifer Rodriguez of Odessa; brothers Juan Ramirez of Odessa, and Benny Ramirez of Midland; sisters Socorro Biscaino of Odessa, Celia Ramirez of Odessa, and Juana Rodriguez of Odessa, six great-grandchildren Ethan and Dylan Hernandez, Christian Reyes, Aliana and Fabian Hinojos, and Jayden Vasquez.

A rosary will be 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 6, 2014, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Hatch officiating. Interment will follow at Ector County Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mario Hinojos, Mario Reyes, Amelia Rodriguez, Michael Navarrete, Lando Rodriguez Jr, Carlos Rodriguez, Isaac Vasquez, and Jennifer Rodriguez.
