He was born June 29, 1925 in Bronte, TX to Saledonio and Louisa Aranda.
He retired from Ector County after more than 15 years. He enjoyed watching wrestling, Dallas Cowboys football, and was a “MOJO” football fan. He loved family gatherings.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Frank Aranda, two sisters Genevieve Reyes and Jessie Aranda.
He is survived by his wife Arabella Aranda, son Pete Aranda, Glenn Aranda, Fabian Aranda and wife Tenille all of Odessa, Sammy Aranda of San Angelo, Larry Aranda of Arlington, daughter, Norma Burnett of Odessa, sisters, Olivia Rios and Mary Lou Martinez, nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Rosary will be 7pm Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Chapel.
Mass will be 1pm Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery.
