In Our Heavenly Kingdom and in the Loving Arms of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is to be found a beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, & Dear Friend Pete Leija Gonzales. Mr. Gonzales 64, of Odessa, Surrounded by his loving family, passed away Monday October 5, 2015 at his residence.

He was born May 19, 1951 Odessa, Texas to Jose Moreno and Julia Leija. He was a Christian Catholic and a retired Industrial Painter. He is preceded in death by loving wife; Rocio Gonzales,

Pete Gonzales is survived by Son; Pete Gonzales Jr. of California, Pete Gozales Jr.3rd ( Amarissa Chapa), Pete Gonzales Jr.4th, Daughters; Virginia G. Palma ( Erick ), Trisha A. Gonzales, Elizabeth Fernandez ( Romero), Elda Molinar ( Aaron), Brothers; Richard Leija Gonzales ( Rosa), Joe Torres Moreno Jr., Michael Leija Moreno ( Josie), sisters; Mary Gonzales Rodriguez ( Larry), Lupe Gonzales Franco ( Rudy) , Dianna Moreno Baeza , 24 Grandchildren, and 16 Great-Grandchildren a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Many Friends.

We the Gonzales Family, would like to take this time and express our utmost sincere gratitude to each and everyone of you for all your prayers, floral arrangements, food, offering and especially your presence with us during this most difficult time. Visitation will begin Wednesday October 14, 2015 from 1pm to 9pm at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Thursday from 8am to 9pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10am Friday October 09, 2015 at St. Joseph`s Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery Peaceful Garden Section. Services by Odessa Funeral Home.
