No matter what life threw at Ponciano, he faced it head on. He was a strong man, full of life, full of wit, and full of ideas. Those ideas always turned into some of the best stories. Some of those ideas, turned into business ventures, and he sure was an amazing businessman. He never stopped working - he worked through his sicknesses and through the holidays too! On top of that, he was the best cook! He loved feeding his family, especially when the Dallas Cowboys were on! If he didn’t fire up the barbecue pit for brisket, then he was heating up the oil to fry some catfish. Everyone knew they were eatin’ good if he was cookin’! Another favorite past time of his was live concerts. He loved music, especially rock music, but more specifically Metallica. Ponciano had a heart of gold, which was apparent in his relationships with others. He loved his wife deeply and it seemed his heart truly beat for her. He was an amazing father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Whatever he had, he would share with the world. He was the true definition of selfless. He will be dearly missed and dearly remembered.
