R. Junior Riggins

R. Junior Riggins was born on 01/05/1934 in Young County, Texas one of three children born to Ruby M. Riggins and Nannie Lee Allen Riggins. He passed away on 02/13/2023 in Odessa, Texas at the age of 89 with his loving family at his side.

Junior worked for Neal Pool Reckers of Odessa, TX for 40 plus years before he retired.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sister; Mary White and Betty Short and one granddaughter, Kaci.

Junior’s memories will be cherished by his wife of 63 years, Cleo Marie Riggins.

He is also survived by their three children; a son Jack Whitley and his wife Cindy; a daughter Karen Long and her husband David; and a daughter Lisa Steiger; nine grandchildren; Justin, Todd, Meagan, Heather, Stephanie, Joey, Aaron, Jennifer and a special grandson Chris; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Guests may call upon the family for a time of visitation on Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 6-8 PM at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you make a donation to Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch in the name of R. Junior Riggins.
