Randall Mayfield

Randy Mayfield of Odessa, Texas died Wednesday, December 26th at Medical Center Hospital. Graveside services are scheduled for Monday, December 31, 2012 at 1:00 PM Associate Pastor of Worship and Celebration of First Baptist Church, Curtis Brewer will officiate at Sunset Memorial Gardens at 6801 East Business 20, Odessa, Texas.

Randy was born in Abilene, Texas to Ambers and Ollie Maye Mayfield on March 21, 1952. He is survived by his wife of 37 1/2 years, Marla Mayfield, two sons and their families: James Mayfield and wife, LeeAnn and four children’ James, Shayla, Levi, and Wade and Michael Mayfield and wife, Rochelle and one daughter; Ashlyn. Randy is survived by one brother Kerre, and two sisters; Marsha Bowling and Becki Goyne. Randy grew up in Odessa, attended OHS and Odessa College as a machinist. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era in Germany till 1972. He worked as plant operator for almost 40 years at Foster Plant, Rexene, Huntsman, Flint Hills Resources and finished at Occidental Petroleum in Fort Stockton Texas.
