In Our Heavenly Kingdom and in the Loving Arms of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is to be found a beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother,& Dear Friend Reinalda Vega Martinez. Mrs. Martinez, 70, of Odessa, Surrounded by her loving family passed away Tuesday August 19,2014 at Medical Center Hospital.

She was born January 24, 1944 in Tye, Texas to Romulo Vega and Aurelia Cisneros. She was a Catholic and a Homemaker.

Mrs. Martinez was preceded in death by: Sons; Anacleto V. Martinez Jr., Raymond V. Martinez and Parents; Romulo and Aurelia Cisneros Vega.

She is survived by loving Husband; Anacleto Martinez Sr. of Odessa, Sons; Augustine V. Martinez of Odessa, Robert V. Martinez of Odessa,Daughter; Angie M. Marquez of Odessa, Brother; Antonio Vega of Abilene, Sisters; Helen Hernandez and Margaret Vega both of Odessa, 8 Grandchildren; Monica, Crystal, Freddie Jr., Shanice, Elizabeth, Valentina, Augie, Augustine, and 14 Great-Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Many Friends.

We the Martinez Family would like to take this time and express our utmost sincere gratitude to each and every one of you for all your prayers, floral, food, offering and especially your presence with us during this most difficult time. May God Bless You All Abundantly.

Pallbearers will be; Freddie Marquez Jr., Anthony Vega, Johnny Martinez Jr., Augustine Martinez Jr., Rodrigo Melendez and Octavio Navarrette.

Visitation will be today, Thursday August 21, 2014 at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel, from 9am-9pm with a Rosary recited at 6pm.

Mass will be celebrated at 1pm Friday August 22, 2014 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Reverend: Hilary Ihedioha officiating.

Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery Peaceful Garden Section. Arrangements under the direction of Odessa Funeral Home, Odessa, TX.
