Ms. Burnett enjoyed shouting out the correct answers to Wheel of Fortune on the television. She also enjoyed sitting on her front porch watching the humming birds. She lived and breathed for her great grandchildren.
Ms. Burnett is survived by her son, Ricky Akers of Odessa, sisters, Nina Young of Brownwood, TX and Martha Cockrell of Tyler, TX, brother, Lonnie Clemons of Tyler, TX, grandchildren, Sharena Akers and Jason Akers both of Odessa, (5) great-grandchildren, Matthew, Braesyn, Jaylnn, Katelynn and Dylan all of Odessa.
Services will be held at 2 pm today Friday 13, 2011 at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Emmett Bernard officiating. Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery Rosehill Section. Services by Odessa Funeral Home.
