Richard Allen Casey

Visitation will be Sunday, July 31, 2011 from 2 to 4 PM at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday, August 1, 2011 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors Chapel, with Reverend Brad Bennett of St. Lukes United Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge #955, officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Casey had lived in Odessa, for 53 years.

Mr. Casey was born April 1, 1925 in Midwest City, WY. He married Claire Andrews on March 24, 1946 in Long Beach, CA. He graduated from Pampa High School. He also graduated from, US Navy Diesel School at University, of Missouri. He attended Odessa College, Tarleton State University, and Texas Tech University. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and Korean conflict. He worked for ARCO Oil and Gas and its predecessor, Sinclair Oil and Gas in Pampa, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Odessa, Texas. He retired in 1985 after 37 years. He was a Master Mason for over 50 years, a member of the American Legion, and St. Lukes United Methodist Church.

He enjoyed traveling with his wife of 58 years and their grandchildren, in their motor home. His greatest joys were spending time with friends and family.

Mr. Casey was preceded in death by his wife, Clair, in 2004. Survivors include a son, Don Casey of Garnet Valley, PA, and three daughters, Sharon Riley and Carol Weatherford of Odessa, TX and Kathy Nelson of Lewisville, TX, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
