Robert Lynn Payne

Robert Lynn Payne, 70, of Odessa passed away Monday, May 26, 2014 at his home. He was born June 19, 1943 in Abilene, TX to Frank & Cora Payne. He was a member of Sherwood Church of Christ. He graduated from Baird High School. He married Sheila Skiles February 27, 1976. He moved to Odessa in the early seventies and worked for Amoco/OXY for 25 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter Christal Payne. He is survived by his wife Sheila Payne of Odessa, sons Robert Payne & wife Kelly of Lake Dallas, Steve Payne & wife Stephanie of Lake Dallas, Jason Payne & wife Laura of Odessa, Dustin Payne of Odessa; sister Peggy Vernon & husband Jerry of Abilene; (9) grandchildren, Kylee, Laura, Noah, Jordan, Alex, Ethan, Kennedy, Jessie & Nikko.

A visitation will be held 6 to 8 pm Friday, May 30, 2014 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Sherwood Church of Christ with Lynn Money & Lonnie Hamil officiating.
