Roberto Provencio

Robert was born January 14, 1954 to Martina and Alfredo Mendoza. He moved to Odessa in 1980 and became a Master Electrician with Superior Controls until he retired in 2017. He stalked and later married Leslie on June 7, 1984. They were married until death did them part in 2005. He never remarried. He was a Christian who loved his young at heart class at church. To his two daughters he was Superman who could fix, build, do anything he wanted. And to his 6 grandkids, who he loved dearly, believed he walked on water.

Robert is survived by his daughters Mary Ann Provencio and Linda Marie Navarrette, both of Odessa, TX. 6 grandkids, Roberto Provencio, Aden T Navarrette, Benito Lopez III, Leahloni Lopez-Provencio, Braxton Lopez-Provencio, Jaden T Faimaw all of Odessa, TX. Siblings Manuel Provencio of Topeka, KS, Cruz Moralez of El Paso, TX, and Margie Ortiz of Killeen, TX. And tons of sister in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Roberto is preceded in death by the love of his life, Leslie Ann Provencio, Mother and Father Martina and Alfredo Mendoza. Brother Alfredo Mendoza. Sister Magdalena Mendoza and beloved dog Ranger.

On behalf of his Daughters, we would like to thank everyone for their prayers and kind words during this time. And a special thank you for the pallbearers Roberto Provencio, Larry Provencio, Jacob Provencio, Rudy Morales, Jimmy Lujan.

A visitation for Roberto will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Odessa Funeral Home, 1700 N Jackson Ave, Odessa, Texas 79761. A chapel service at odessa funeral home will occur Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 10:00 AM, 1700 N Jackson Ave, Odessa, Texas 79761. A burial will occur Friday, July 12, 2024 at 2:00 PM MDT at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79907.
