

In the early morning hours of Wednesday, April 15, 2015, Rocky Dean Hogan stepped peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to be forever reunited with his loving family and friends.
Rocky Dean Hogan was born March 7, 1957, in Odessa, Texas to R.D. and Jo Dee Hogan. Rocky grew up in Odessa and graduated from Permian High School in 1975.
Rocky went to work for Grant Supply in Odessa and later transferred to Farmington, New Mexico. The company became McJunkin and after several years, he transferred to Lubbock, Texas as the On Site Project Manager for what is now MRC. He remained with MRC until his passing.
Rocky was a gentle, caring, loving individual with a heart of gold. He was the consummate conversationalist and could keep you entertained for hours. He will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish memories of Rocky are one Brother, Troy “CoCo” Hogan and wife Gwen; Sisters Teri Burgess and Tami Heifner and husband Bryan; an Uncle, Bill Hogan and an Aunt, Rita Lowell, all of Odessa; Nieces April Cowan, Jennifer Hogan, Brittney Soules, Baylie Heifner; Nephews Robin and Scott Crow; Great Nieces Cheyenne and Hannah Cowan and Reighly Autry; Great Nephews Dawson Hogan, Colten Autry, Max and Mase Soules and a host of cousins and friends.
Rocky is preceded in death by his parents R.D. and Jo Dee Hogan; Maternal Grandparents Sawnie and Buton Cook and paternal Grandparents William and Alpha Hogan.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for all the prayers, calls, support and love shown during this difficult time. God bless you all.
A family gathering with friends will be held from 4pm to 7pm Saturday April 18, 2015 at Odessa Funeral Home. A celebration of Rocky`s life will be held at 11am Monday April 20, 2015 at St Andrew Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Dr Jimmy Braswell officiating. Interment will be held private at a later date. Services by Odessa Funeral Home.
