Scott was born in Meredith, Connecticut on 29 January 1965 to the late Ben and Carol Ewing.
Scott travelled far with our Dad. They left Connecticut in 1980 and lived in Oxnard, California.
Then moved to Subic Bay Naval Base in the Philippines where he graduated High School.
Scott and our father then returned to California living in Oxnard until our father's retirement.
Then they moved to Jackson, Tennessee. From there they moved to Bangor, Maine. After a
time in Bangor they moved to Henderson, Nevada. This is where our father passed away.
Scott then moved to West Jorden, Utah and then to Odessa Texas. I talked to him about this
and asked him if he was going to keep up this crazy moving around the country. He said "no I
am happy in Odessa and that will be where you can find me."
He worked numerous jobs throughout his life. His last employer was the City of Odessa. When
Scott was younger he was a remarkable artist. He was interested in painting and illustration.
Scott from a young age was the quintessential loner. When we went to Maine in the summers
he would spend from dawn til dusk fishing by himself off our uncle's pier at camp. Scott was a
very gentle person with a big heart.
Scott is survived by his brother Joe Ewing and wife Marjorie of Riverside, Ca. and his sister
Sherry and her husband Marco Riberio of Orono, Maine. Also his nephews Jim and Frank
Walsh of California, and Corey and Robby Veino as well as a niece Shannon Hartford all living
in central Maine. He has Uncles and cousins that live mostly in Maine or Virginia.
There will be no service in Odessa Texas. His internment will be late summer 2022 in Enfield,
Maine next to his father and family.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.odessafuneralhome.com for the Ewing family.
