My thoughts and prayers go out to Bob Bitner & Stephen Fuentez's family as they deal with their loss and having had to lay to rest their sweet Stephen. My heart breaks for Bob, losing his spouse of 33 years. I never had the honor of meeting Stephen, but just from them sharing all their beautiful posts and the amazing pictures of their beautiful flowers, trees and their sweet kitties, I could tell they had a very loving home and life together. May you always remember the loving and happy times, let them comfort you and bring a smile thru the tears.
RIP Stephen Fuentez, you were truly loved by many.

I met Stephen in Ft Myers FL. I was working for another airline and he was with Southwest. He told me he was leaving to go back to TX so there would be an opening and get ready to apply. I did and was hired by Southwest...he always teased me I owe him a taco dinner for helping me get the job which I still love. Stephen was always smiling and Ilooked forward to seeing him at the airport...my deepest sympathy to his loved ones...RIP friend

Growing up in a small town brought many wonderful memories for me, and Stephen was definitely in many of those. The one thing that sticks out the most is his smile and his laugh. It was innocent and naive and very sweet. He was easy to be friends with, so genuine and loving. Two of my dearest friends in all the world adored Stephen, and they to have left us too soon. I know they are all together and I take comfort in that. We will miss Stephen on Facebook and his funny political posts, his wonderful pictures of the home he and Bob were making together, his appreciation for life and good Mexican food, and him just being present. Rest in peace brother and until we meet again.

My deepest sympathy to Stephen’s loved ones. I am so glad to have had Stephen in my life. During our high school days, Stephen was my classmate, my friend, and my confidant. I will never forget the music of our time and the laughter we shared. Though we drifted apart as young adults, we were able to reconnect through social media and once connected, it was as if not a single day had gone by. I will always love him and keep him in my heart. Rest In Peace, Stephen.

I use to work with Stephen in Dallas but I didn’t really get to know him until after they closed the center. Somehow I don’t even remember when we formed a bond and became friends. Sometimes we would talk 3 times a day sometimes once in 3 months, I say talk it was laughing we laughed at everything. I can’t imagine not having that. My heart is broken.
