Thomas Eugene Long

Thomas Eugene Long, 60, of Odessa passed away Monday, May 5, 2014 at his home. He was born February 28, 1954 in Odessa to Jim & Marjorie Long. He worked in the Human Resource Dept. for Walmart for 20 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Robert Long; & nephew James Zimmerman. He is survived by his Life companion Maria Lopez Long; son Victor Lopez & wife Laura of Odessa; daughter Rebecca Ramirez of Odessa; sisters Kay Zimmerman & husband James of Ross, TX, Loretta Janek & husband John of Lorena, TX; (6) grandchildren, Gabriella, Mina & Manny Ramirez, Seth, Luke, & Hope Lopez; great-granddaughter Seriniti Carrasco; (4) nephews; (2) nieces; (4) Great-Nephews; & 1 great niece.

A Rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2014 at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with Father Mark Woodruff officiating. Burial will be 2:00 pm at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring, TX.
