In Our Heavenly Kingdom and in the Loving Arms of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is to be found a beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather,Great-Great-grandfather, & Dear Friend Tomas R. Menchaca.

Mr. Menchaca 84, of Odessa, Surrounded by his loving family, passed away Sunday July 19, at Continued Care Hospital in Midland, Texas. He was born March 17, 1931 in Menard, Texas to Tomas and Sophia Rodriguez Menchaca. He was a Christian Catholic and a US Marine Veteran of the Korean War Era and Owner of a Concrete Company .

He is preceded in death by Father; Tomas Menchaca, Mother; Sophia Rodriguez, Step-Father: Joe Urtiaga, Son; Richard Menchaca, Brother; Miguel Menchaca, Sister; Sally Menchca.

Mr. Menchaca is survived by Loving Wife; Gloria Tijerina Menchaca, Son; Frank Menchaca, Daughters; Sylvia Menchaca, Isabel Luna, all of Odessa, sisters; Sofia Garza of Menard, Texas, Frances Salazar of Covina California, 7 Grandchildren, 14 Great-Grandchildren, 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Many Friends.

Visitation will begin today Tuesday July 21, 2015 from 8am to 9pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel.

Mass will be celebrated at 10am Wednesday July 22, 2015 at St. Joseph`s Catholic Church.

Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery Peaceful Garden Section.
