Urbano "Johnny" Dominguez Orona

In Our Heavenly Kingdom and in the Loving Arms of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is to be found Our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Brother & Dear Friend Urbano “Johnny” Dominguez Orona.

Mr. Orona 82, of Odessa surrounded by his loving family passed away at Odessa Regional Hospital Friday October 2, 2015.

He was born January 14, 1933 in Marfa, Texas to Sabino Orona Sr. and Paubla Dominguez. He was a Christian and a retired Mechanic.

He is preceded in death by Parents, Sabino and Paubla Orona, Brother, Freddy Orona, Sisters; Viola Alvarez, Alicia Fernandez, Mary Allen Mata.

Mr. Orona is survived by Loving Wife; Eloisa Hignojos Orona of Odessa, Son; Johnny H. Orona ( Frances) of Odessa, Daughters; Elva H. Orona of Odessa, Romelia O. Rodriguez ( Raymond) of Midland, Minnie Orona of Odessa , JoAnn O. Pena (Raul) of Odessa, Brother; Sabino Orona Jr. of Odessa, Sisters; Andrea Melendez, Cruz Orona both of Odessa, 12 Grandchildren, and 13 Great-Grandchildren, a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and many Friends.

We, the Orona Family, would like to take this time and express our utmost sincere gratitude to each and everyone of you for all your prayers, floral, food offerings and especially your presence with us during this most difficult time, May God Bless You All Abundantly.

Pallbearers will be; Justin Saucedo, Steven O. Sanchez, Michael O. Rayos, Johnny C. Orona, Jimmy V. Sanchez III, and Tony Rayos Jr.. Honorary Pall Bearers; Ruben P. Pena, Nathan R. Sanchez, and Joe A. Gochicoa.

Visitation will be held from 5pm to 9pm today Sunday October 4, 2015 at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel and Monday October 5, 2015 from 8am to 9pm at Odessa Funeral Home with a Prayer Service at 7pm. Services will be held at 10am Tuesday October 6, 2015 at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Joe Barreraz officiating.

Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Last Supper Section.
