Queridos primos, my heart broke at the news of Valdo's passing followed by Grace... Although I couldn't come to Odessa my heart and spirit are definately with you all.

I will always remember both their laughs and smiles and the great times we spent together, although not many they were very heartfelt.

When Grace lived in Houston with us she would spend hours teaching me to dance the "Penguin" to this day I still think of those moments and I in turn would try to teach her the spins Michael Jackson and Donnie Osmond would do, we'd laugh so much!

Our genes are absolutely bond by dance and music. Through these tough days, celebrate her love, life will always send us wild curve balls, sticking as a team-family team helps get through the game!

As for my sweet cousin Valdo, he was exactly all that to me! Sweet inside and out and vibed that energy in his catering as well. For the last few weeks before he passed and my quick in/out trip to Odessa I was remembering often how he showered me with all his goodies last time I was there! I left Odessa an extra 10 lbs heavier and wanting more. It was a pleasure meeting Phillip, he was like a best friend from the start! I know whenever I hear the words "visions of sugar plums danced in their heads" I will always remember my sweet cousin Valdo cooking the goodies!

My heart is with you all cousins. Make everyday count, life is short.. 💖
