Valdemar "Val" A. Garza Sr.

In Our Heavenly Kingdom and in the Loving Arms of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is to be found Our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother & Dear Friend, Valdemar “Val” Garza Sr. On Friday January 24, 2014 surrounded by his loving family, Mr. Garza, at the age of 78, was called upon from this earthly life, by Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, He was born January 15, 1936 in Ozona, Texas, to Tomas & Biatriz Alba Garza. He united in marriage to Maria Jimenez on March 26, 1970 here in Odessa, Texas. He was a Christian, and a U.S. Marine Veteran of the Korean Conflict Era, and retired from the Dept of Transportation. He is preceded in death by Parents: Tomas & Biatriz Alba Garza., Brother: Louis A. Garza. Mr. Garza is survived by Loving Wife. Maria Jimenez Garza of Odessa, Sons: Valdito Garza of Odessa, Val Garza of California, Brian Garza of California, Joe Garza of California, Daughters: Valarie M. Garza of Odessa, Beatrice Rohr of Washington, Shelly M. Garza of California Brothers: Joe A. Garza of Vernon, Texas, Tommy A. Garza of Poteet, Tx, Romeo A. Garza of Odessa Sisters: Susie A. Garza of Odessa, Tx, Delores Martinez of Midland, Texas, Rosa White of Fritch Tx, Margarita Gomez of Odessa, Ruth A. Garza of Odessa and 19 Grandchildren, 3:Great-Grandchildren,a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and many Friends, and Brothers & Sisters in Christ.

We the Garza Family would like to take this time and express our utmost sincere gratitude to each and everyone of you for all your prayers, floral, food offerings and especially your presence with us during this most difficult time. Visitation will be held only from 7pm to 9pm Today Tuesday January 28, 2014 with a Prayer Service to be held at 7pm at Odessa Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1pm Wednesday January 29, 2014 at Odessa Funeral Homes with Reverend`s: Tommy A. Garza & Neal Fleenor officiating. Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery the Peaceful Gardens Section
