Vicente Montano

Vicente Montano was born in Aldama Mexico, on May 10,1944 to Jose and Maria Montano. He spent most of his adult life in the US, specifically after he brought his family to the US. After years of working in the oilfields, he began V&R trucking with the help of his wife, Ramona Montano.

In Odessa, he raised his family.

He is survived by his wife, Ramona Montano and his 3 children, Jesus (wife Regan), Dalia and Lynda (husband Ector). He was also greatly loved by his grandchildren, Charlene (husband Jay), Aaron (wife Chrisna), Unica (wife Evelyn), Matthew (wife Adonica), AJ, as well as great-grandchildren, Serenity, Ayden, Aaron, Axell, Pearl and Gracie.

Also survived by his three siblings Estella, Rigo and Sarah and many nieces and nephews that he loved very much.

Preceded in death by his brother Jose (Pepe), nephew Jose (Pepito) and his parents, Jose and Maria.

A visitation for Vicente will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Odessa Funeral Home, 1700 N Jackson Ave, Odessa, Texas 79761. A visiation will occur Wednesday, June 14, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, 1700 N Jackson Ave, Odessa, Texas 79761. A chapel service will occur Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 2:00 PM at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Odessa, Texas. A burial will occur Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Ector County Cemetery, 300 S Dixie Blvd, Odessa, Texas 79761.
