Vicki was born in Pawhuska, OK on December 22, 1949. She graduated from Ector High School and received a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Angelo State University. Vicki was married to her Elementary sweetheart Edward Erwin Bredemeyer on March 16, 1990; they lived in wedded bliss for 20 years.
Vicki answered the Lord’s calling and became a teacher for Ector County Independent School District for 30 years. She taught all her 30 years at Gale Pond Alamo Elementary. She loved studying God’s word and planning Bible Studies to share with her fellow brothers and sisters. Vicki was an accomplished seamstress, earning a blue ribbon from the PB fair for quilting. Her crochet skills were superb, and she was able to sew anything from potholders for a new bride to a baby quilt for a new mom. She was well known for her singing and spent time singing with the Singing Women of Texas. Vicki was a sorority sister for Alpha Delta Kappa/Texas Chapter-Gamma Tau for 24 years. She served ADK/GT in a variety of offices including President, 1998-2000 & 2010-2012. At the time of her death she was a faithful church member of Kingston Avenue Baptist Church.
Vicki was preceded in death by her mother, Mabel Bell Wren; her father, Edward Leahy Wren; and her husband, Edward Erwin Bredemeyer.
Vicki is survived by her daughter Veronica Luna Farrow (husband Kevin S. Farrow) and her Grandson Samuel K. Farrow. One sister-in-law, two nephews and three nieces. Many great nephews and great nieces.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 2pm – 6pm at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Monday, August 20, 2018 at Kingston Avenue Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Atkins officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
