Walter T Henderson Jr. “Sonny”, 75, passed away at Odessa Regional Medical Center Friday, January 26, 2018. Sonny was born December 29, 1942 to Walter T. Henderson Sr. and L. Faye Douglas in Odessa, Texas.
The Henderson family has owned and operated the Ranch Supply Company for over 70 years, which Sonny owned and operated for 35 years.
Surviving Sonny is his spouse/companion, Mary Lou Massengale of Odessa; his son, Trey Henderson of Odessa; daughters, Jamie Young of Littleton, Colorado, Lainey Henderson Strohm of McKinney; Sonny is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
A funeral service is set for Monday, January 29, 2018 at 1:00 PM at First United Methodist Church with Todd Salzwedel officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery.
